Our Mission

At Daly Certified, we believe supplements — when formulated well and used in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle — can support wellness at the root-cause level, optimizing the body’s natural systems instead of masking symptoms. While medications have their place, supplements can help achieve and maintain wellness while keeping illness and disease at bay.

Education is central to everything we do. We help people understand how supplements work, what makes them effective, and how to recognize quality when they see it. Complex science becomes simple, trustworthy, and actionable guidance.

My Story

When I was 26, I decided to go back to nursing school. It was an exciting time — but also when my health hit its lowest point. I was constantly battling brain fog, daily headaches, and full-body pain. My muscles and joints hurt to the touch, and I chalked it up to working out six days a week. But it kept getting worse.

For years, I took 600 mg of ibuprofen a day just to function. I tried everything you can imagine: quitting coffee, eating clean (basically vegetables, rice, and chicken), cutting stress, sleeping more — nothing helped. This went on for nearly four years until the day after my wedding, it all came crashing down.

I developed terrible stomach pain and realized I had given myself a painful stomach ulcer. I finally hit a breaking point. At the time, I was working at a world renowned medical center as a nurse in the emergency department. I asked everyone I knew — physicians, PAs, other nurses, and even GI specialists — what I should do.

Almost all said the same thing:
“Take a proton pump inhibitor [Protonix]. Maybe some calcium carbonate [Tums]. It’ll heal in a few months.”

But I didn’t want to mask the problem with medication. I wanted to fix it.

So I started researching on my own — “Doctor Google” style — and came across an old book on holistic health that mentioned cabbage juice for gastric ulcers. Digging deeper, I found that cabbage contains glutamine, an amino acid that helps repair and seal the gut lining by nourishing enterocytes — the cells that make up your intestinal barrier.

So I quit ibuprofen, started drinking organic cabbage juice, and supplemented with glutamine. In less than 2 weeks, the ulcer pain was gone. Completely.

Out of all the professionals that I had asked for help, no one could believe it. But it worked.

That was my lightbulb moment. If I could heal something that unpleasant by addressing the root cause with supplements, what else could I fix?

While going to work in the ER, I started to see things differently. We were saving lives every day with substances most people would recognize — saline, lactated ringers, magnesium, iron, amino acids, vitamin K, potassium, calcium, etc. When you zoom out, most of the time all we were doing was supplementing patients through their IV — and restoring what the body needed to function.

That realization changed everything. I started to view nursing interventions holistically: what if we supported these same systems proactively — before crisis — through nutrition and targeted supplementation? Now, as a utilization management nurse, I review thousands of patient charts, integrating data and patterns from real-world outcomes.

I decided to dive headfirst into the supplement world — reading studies, comparing brands, learning formulations — and quickly realized how misleading the industry is. It’s under-regulated and often driven by profit over people.

I started helping friends and family one by one. My mom found herself needing surgery for a broken wrist and afterwards, her doctor told her to take a calcium supplement. She came home with a giant jar of calcium carbonate from Costco — and that’s when it hit me.

It wasn’t her fault. She didn’t know that calcium carbonate is poorly absorbed and can cause constipation, gas, and bloating — or that it needs cofactors like magnesium, vitamin D, and K2 to actually work.

That was the moment Daly Certified was born.

I realized that this is the gap I was meant to fill — the bridge between medical advice and real, evidence-based supplement guidance. Because people don’t just need another influencer telling them what to take — they need to understand the what, why, and how behind it all.

And that’s what Daly Certified is here to do.
